The Boston Cognitive Assessment (BoCA) is a self-administered computerized test designed for longitudinal cognitive monitoring purposes. BoCA adopts a randomized task approach to minimize the impact of learning effects. Its development aims at assessing the impact of treatments in longitudinal clinical trials and is provided at no cost to individuals and professionals.

BoCA assesses eight cognitive domains:

 <li>Memory/Delayed Recall</li>
 <li>Visuospatial Reasoning/Mental Rotation</li>
 <li>Executive Function/Clock Test</li>
 <li>Attention</li>
 <li>Mental Math</li>
 <li>Language Comprehension/Prefrontal Synthesis</li>
 <li>Orientation</li>
</ol>

BoCA provides test results upon completion and also via email. The maximum achievable total score is 30, with a higher score indicating superior cognitive performance.
